San Diego Cyclo-Vets Mission Statement
San Diego Cyclo-Vets is a 41-year-old bicycle club based near Mission Valley in San Diego County. Our mission is to provide a community of support for cyclists of all ages, with an emphasis on recreational cyclists. We offer club rides of varying speed and distance for both road (drop bar) bikes and category 1 or 3 electric bikes (approval required). We encourage more cyclists, both experienced riders and those looking to learn safe group riding skills, to join our community. We began our journey many years ago, focusing on older (over 35-year-old) riders, but we now welcome interested cyclists of all ages.
We are currently adding to our membership roster and welcome new bicycle club members and bicycle racing enthusiasts. We have several membership options:

A special thanks goes out to Valerie Shields, who has returned the Shield's name to our club membership list! A donation to Cyclo-Vets was also made in the name of Jay Hollingsworth, who, while battling terminal cancer, came to love tricycling, & rode in Gordy's 9th memorial ride. He was so proud to be able to do that & wanted to ride this year, but unfortunately passed away on the very day of the 10th ride. The donation was made by Val Shields, Patrick Petit & Marilyn Wheeler, all fellow administrators with Jay in South Bay Union School District.
